The first few days of his stay in this foreign city were isolated and lonely. Joshua wanted to talk to the city inhabitants, but he had no way of approaching them. Lucky for him, he chose the right inn as his temporary residence. The boniface noticed that Joshua wanted to talk to some of the city inhabitants, and offered to invite Joshua out drinking with a group of friends. He even refused to accept Joshua's money if he was unhappy during his stay.
