Babelism

All part of Dr. Pantigal's plan, the babelism of rumors and hearsay befuddled the island nation. Noone knew the truth - that Sean John needed their help more than ever.

Ignore

The water became still. Daryl peered over the deck. No moving shapes underwater. Dread grew inside him. He regretted ever coming up with the idea of a robot shark competitor to train Sean John's sharks.

Glut

The invasive fish species has been infiltrating our Island's waters in increasing numbers. While it's not entirely clear how these foreign creatures found their way to our coral reef, one thing is certain : if we don't get rid of them, we will lose our sacred ancestral fish.

That's where Sean John the Shark tamer and his band of guided sharks come in. They'll do their best to divide and conquer the invasive species. I've heard word from Sean John himself that he will not rest until there once again is a glut of sacred fish in our reefs.

Cicerone

Sean John forced a smile. It didn't appear to be enough of a reaction to the woman's joke. He quickly changed the subject.

"One of the most interesting things about the royal Palace is the original designs that you'll still find existing today. One may find a tough time comprehending that the architects on this island nation had the need to make such a complex system of passages." The esteemed guests followed his gestures toward the hallway port.

Princess Monolonowaha owed him big time. He refused to accompany these overstuffed and over paying guests around the city, but she wouldn't let him. So here he was stuck playing the cicerone to a couple of self absorbed socialites.

Fritter

Princess Monolonowaha turned on the TV. "See, there you are," she pointed to Sean John, still busy chopping peppers.

The show's narrator spoke with a British accent. "Despite having saved this island nation, and some say the world, from certain doom at the hands of Dr. Pantigal, Sean John still likes to take it easy. According to our sources, he chooses to fritter away his days sitting on beach, doing as little as possible."

Some distant telephoto shot of Sean John lying on the beach chair in the waves fills the screen.

Cogitation

It sure wasn't going to be easy. Half the nation wanted Sean John's head, and now he had to convince them all that if they didn't trust him, they were all doomed.

He poured the boiling water into a cup of mahingilo leaves, the aroma of the herbs spreading. It wasn't going to be easy, but Sean John knew he could develop a plan. He sat down for a period of cogitation.

Sororal

Sean John found the two sister sharks fleeing the fishing boats. Although his transport really had room for only one shark, he managed to handle both creatures. Though he had none of his own siblings, Sean John did understand the importance of a sororal relationship. He wouldn't split up this family.

How the dirt sounds

It felt like some kind of jello reality. He can't hear the roaring crowd, or the sirens blaring on the PA,or the fireworks crackling above the jumbotron. Oddly, he hears every crunch of the dirt as his feet plod around the bases. That's what he'll always remember about his major league debut - how the dirt sounded.

Brunch

"I'm sorry," Sean John asked. "Did you say brunch?"
"Yes, Mr. John, the time of day created for people of leisure" the Princess replied.
"I don't really do 'brunch'."
The Princess' mouth curled ever so slightly towards a smile. "You do if want to earn the favor of the royal family." She moved away, back to her chambers. "Tomorrow it is. Good bye."

Niveous

He spins, spins, spins, uncontrollably falling. The sun, the ground, the clouds, all flash by. He tries to focus on the niveous texture of the clouds and pretend he's tumbling down a hill after falling off the sled. It should only be as couple more minutes before it all ends.

Remunerative

He's the best god-damned boat rigger in the islands and not only does he know it, but he knows his reputation is far and wide. Eddie Makalaha doesn't do jobs for anyone unless it's a particularly remunerative threshold. He demands plenty of compensation for his time.

Incunabula

Terrible, dreary, inconsiderate weather greeted me at the port. If this was any indication of the graciousness of my host city, I was in for a rough few weeks. The incunabula of my foreign work excursion gave me a heavy feeling...the wind was not at my back.
